The Bharat NCAP gives the Mahindra Thar Roxx a flawless 5-star safety rating.
In the Bharat NCAP crash test, the Mahindra Thar Roxx received a flawless 5-star rating. The newly released SUV received 45 out of 49 points for child protection and 31.09 out of 32 points for adult occupant protection.
Bharat NCAP tested AX5L and MX3 variants of the Thar Roxx. Additionally, the Mahindra XUV400 and the 3XO also scored a 5-star crash test rating.
Mahindra Thar Roxx: Rating for Protecting Adult Occupants
The Thar Roxx achieved the highest score in the Bharat NCAP test, 31.09 out of 32. The SUV achieved 15.09 out of 16 points in the Frontal Offset Deformable Barrier Test, but it went one step further and achieved 16 out of 16 points in the Side Movable Deformable Barrier Test.
Mahindra Thar Roxx: Rating for Protecting Child Occupants
With 45 out of 49 points, the Thar Roxx, which is designed like a child’s fortress, once again shattered the Bharat NCAP record. The Thar Roxx earned the full 12 points for CRS installation and the entire 24 points for the Dynamic score, to break down the rating. Obtaining nine out of thirteen points was the Mahindra SUV’s Vehicle Assessment Score.
